I glanced over at a coil of leftover vacuum hose, then at the Z, then back at the hose, then the Z again.

My gears started turning and before I knew it I was mutilating the stock airboxes.







That little plug in the top pic is for the airbox resonators that my 2010 doesn't have. I'll make a diy this weekend if anyone's interested.

I don't know how I ever missed the fang vent DIY! Just found it.

What Modshack did was route fresh air directly to the main inlet of the airbox.

All I did was route extra air to the airbox via a hole meant for the airbox resonator. This requires a smaller dia hose (1.5in ID). My original intention was to bring the hose to the front slats of the bumper similar to Modshack's idea. But in the end, I decided that when the car is moving, the air just inside the bumper would be every bit as cold as the air outside (or a negligible difference at most). Pics on previous page.

Someone should do BOTH!
