Right now I am thinking that it may be the front sway bar endlink. The noise is only at low speeds and seems consitant with some issues I read on other treads. I will check that out when I get some time. Any other potential low speed only clunk causers?

Kool, thanks Skeeter!

And I thought I was bad cleaning the Z every weekend 9 months out of the yeaar, but between you and Mr onzedge I think you two should have your our own network detail show. :tiphat:

hahaha. :D yah, this is the first time in 7yrs im going to be driving the G throughout winter. with the weight and snow tires i think she will do okay... (?)

No Z action today. But yesterday I wrapped up the Swift Springs, ichiba camber arms and wheel spacer (15mm & 20mm) that I started this weekend. The job is definetly a pain in the butt without an air impact. Looks pretty good and I like the ride of the Swifts on the short test drive I did. Will get some pics up soon. There is some problem with a low speed only suspension noise that I have not been able to identify. I will do a little searching on here and start a post in the suspension section if I do not find an answer.

Tighten the nut on the top hat now that the weight of the car is compressing the springs. Hold the strut with vice grips and use an open ended wrench to tighten the nut. I had similar issues because mine wasn't tight when I installed the spring over the strut. I thought it was tight at the time.

Did you install the plastic piece from your OEM springs? It sits on the top of the coil spring. Lube up the end links and strut bar rubber cushions. Just a thought :tiphat:
