I got an hour in on some this today. All the daylight I had considering I don't get home till 6. Took off the OEM intakes. Piece of cake.. Then I removed the two bolts off the cats that everyone hates. I was prepared for war. Well, it ended up being a cakewalk. I don't know if the PB spray is that bada$$ or what. But with the extensions and breaker bar it made it easy. The passenger side was tougher but not bad. The driver side was really easy.

Alot of people talk about using a swivel but I didn't have to. I had removed the OEM intakes completly (being that I'm installing Gen3) which opened alot of room to use two long straight extensions and breaker bar. Straight shot to work on. Even on the driver side where the steering rod is almost in the way. But just right where it works without a swival. Hope this helps with people who might question this install. Not bad. Any questions I'll be glad to answer. Not using the swivel is the key to this being simple.

I will have a write up this weekend when I'm done with all. Plus pics. Stay tuned.

Lots of folks have the right tools, yet some folks use tools like pliers to remove wheels and such.

Right tools do help. Good thing these are basic tools needed for this removal. Wish I had the right tools for my stud install when I did my spacer. I jacked them up. They do need to be pressed in.

I took my 78 year old mom to Safeway and her favorite burrito place. She always gushes about the Z's sculpted lines and sheer beauty. In order to get her out, she lines up her cane and both feet, as I sort of pull her out of the car on 1..2...3... go.

drove it to work and back like always

but today the guy that we work together with came over and was all "damn I am hungry davy can you get me something to eat?"

Me being the awesome guy I am ofcourse said yes.

when I was almost at the door he went all "you got your car?"

"ofcourse I do"

"here take my car."

He owns a new Jaguar XFR.

"I drove a XFR to a shop and I jizzed in my pants."

car is so ******* awesome. I wouldn't mind owning one.

so ******* comfortable. I really regret the shop being only a 5 minute drive in the city so I wasn't able to "test" it.

Loved the exhaust note even though I was driving so slooowly.

First time driving a supercharged V8 and loved it.

That is very cool. My 77 year old mom loves to ride in mine, when I visit, as well. My 80 year old dad is ok with riding too, but he tends to drag his feet on the kick plates when he gets in or out.
