Nick911sc 08-31-2011 02:17 PM

I don't have the tools needed to DIY :(

Plus my mechanic is a personal friend so he does right by me.

I should rephrase, I have all the tools needed, but I can't be bothered to do it with how inundated I am at work because of Hurricane Irene claims.

Tools needed that I'm missing... Mental sanity

But knowing that you just installed your Berk exhaust personally should replace some of your sanity. Its seriously like six bolts I think. Took no time at all:tup:

Nick911sc 08-31-2011 02:28 PM

I installed my in cabin air filter myself :ugh2:

kenchan 08-31-2011 02:30 PM

oh yah, nick is a insurance guy so probably SUPER busy. and have to hear DMV-customer-types cry/bitch all day long of their sad stories while making their claims. talking about all sorts of tangents and not to the point of what needs to be fixed, etc.

that would drive one insane. i think best to let mechanic do it.

ok, the fog light can be pretty involved if wired up correctly to a switch inside the cabin and not tapped to the taillamp.

the shift knob can be very intimidating to remove stock knob if yours is stubborn like how mine was.... :icon14:

I'm tapping it off the license plate frame!

And I am sort of intimidated by the shift knob, but I have the correct tools and some extra hands to help..

I have a fog light and wire harness with the switch that goes between the seat heater switches. Both of these sit in their boxes in my garage because I am working up the gumption to perform the installation. Maybe this wekeend. Maybe not.
