Of course there's a chance the USPS plane carrying them gets caught in the hurricane and crashes in the ocean and only one person survives and holds onto the package as a way of maintaining his sanity while living off a nearby island until he finally decide to build a raft and get rescued by a passing ship only to return home to find that his wife has moved on and remarried but then remembers the package and delivers it to you years later.

Pretty small chance, though.

Will he give me my spring after things calm down a little with the wife situation? hopefully he doesn't uncoil it to make a spear...

Took my cover off. Too windy.
Watching trees fall in the back yard. Thankfully, I don't have any trees near the driveway .

Hang in there, LunaZ!

Thoughts and prayers go out to all of your friends up north still dealing with the storm. We don't have any damage. Lost power over night but it is back on already. Hope all are as lucky.

I hope that at the end of it all, each of you that weathered the hurricane can put a line in their signatures that read "Not a single Z was killed during the passing of Irene" or something similar!

Stay safe guys!

Good news Beach. Just be mindful of the wind.

I was living on the northshore of Lake Pontchartrain when Katrina hit New Orleans, and had 25 pine trees drop in my yard and not one hit the house. Unfortunately, two trees dropped in my next door neighbor's yard on another house and sliced through from the peak of the roof to the slab.

Best wishes to all affected and stay safe.
