I drove my 240 to my office today -- the first time in months. I forgot the noise and smell of it -- I missed her. Anyone with noise complaints on the 370, come on out to Sac for a ride and you will think your 370 is a Caddy.

Have a great day.

well.... ok, I dropped my Z off at my installer. Getting the b-pillars, front black bumper trim, and kick plates 3M Scotchprinted CF, then getting hood 22" clear bra'd..... (yes, I decided to do that). Wish me luck... (I'm nervous about the 22" :()

Also, I may decide not to do the fenders.... since it's pretty hidden from the front face anyways...

I scared myself with the Z today lol

I have previously drifted into sharp turns before with the Z if I stepped on it will making the turn in 2nd...not a huge drift, just slide into the turn (same thing that happens if I use too much tire shine and go out for the first 5 minutes lol)

So this morning I say, hmm, what kind of slide could I get with the VDC off :ugh2::shakes head:

HA, I go full sideways practically, correct myself and continue on. Its 7:30am, so not many cars on the road where I turned but I'm sure the 2 cars on the opposite side were like "WTF is wrong with this guy" or "He has too much power" lol

Anyways, interesting...I'll leave the VDC on for the time being or just not make stupid turns

No necessarily...

Although I drive my car daily, it doesn't take away from the fact that I do take it to lapping days.

It serves a purpose, and it happens to look cool.

It also gives the insurance company enough to delay/deny your claim if you ever hit something :-/

Econ 07-05-2011 04:50 PM

Tying a block of metal to your frame, and bringing it out to be the foremost part of your car significantly affects the way it could act in the case of front end impact.
