I took my 370 out to the Volvo Club of America autocross event at Mather Field -- just to watch. Friggin amazing, some of these built Volvos. Who would have thought? Lowered and tuned Volvo Station Wagons with Sparco seats. Wow.

Both of my sons drove their cars -- a 1983 Volvo 244 and a 280zx turbo. Here is a clip of the 280zx run. 2 cones lost their lives.

How's the HPS to breather hose fitment? :)

Do u use the factory clamps?

I used the HPS clamps. They are bit bulky but seem pretty solid.

As for the breather hose, do you mean the passenger side or the driver side? The chamber that fits on the passenger side HPS tube was definitely not a great fit. I'm not sure if having it floating (since it doesn't attach to the M370) helps things or hurts.

Thanks for the info. Yah, I was wondering about the passenger side... :)

Had my alignmernt done the other day after a mounting a fresh new set of RE-11 and Swift spings that replaced the Eibachs.

Did not like the rear set up at -1.6 with the fronts being -1.2 & -1.7. Also wanted to see about getting toe in a better ranger.

New alignment is at Fr -1.3 & -1.7 and toe at 0.6 & 0.9

Rears at -1.1 & -1.0 and toe 0.4 & 1.5

Much better and will see in 500 miles how they tires wearing. Then may try for front toe to be at 0.0 and rear toe at 0.02.

The rear really woke up bringing in back down to -1.0. Have not really wrung it out yet with this setup. Will see next Sat on the run.

CGMMNY- sounds good. those black nismo valve stems are metal, correct?

is there a reason why you're not doing all 4 wheels at one time? hope you're getting the center caps painted too. ive seen some with black wheels yet the caps were frikken 'evybody look over here' silver. :icon08:

I only have two jack stands so thats why I had to do two rims at a time. But all four rims are now powder coated matte black and I spray painted the center caps flat black. I'm a little concerned about the flat black painted center caps because it chips easily (chip it today). I'm going to have to search for a more permanent solution......

Cool! :pics:

You did primer the caps before you sprayed?

Well... let's see...

Yesterday, I took the wife to see Bridesmaids, and we enjoyed a nice spirited run before the movie. I also stared at Zena's nose while installing 5 shelves in our garage... more storage space for NON-Griots detailing supplies (jab at you Ken ;)).

Today, I drove her to work, then dropped her off to get headlights and door handles clear-bra'd. And also the rear valence wrapped in 3M DiNoc. :D

:icon18: fixed. im not really fixated to griot's though as you might think. :D i use a lot of their products and accessories cause it's easy to use and priced right...it's a fun store to shop at and human support, when needed, is top notch. makes it very convenient for me.

cant say that about a lot of shops ... a lot of smaller shops still relying on manual input for online sales receipts and tracking info. and you ask them for tracking number more than a few time due to their tardiness, suddenly their smiles turns to frowns and they make it sound like you're being impatient. :ugh2: wtf

this day in age, OL shopping should be 100% automated and only need human support when you ask for it. :)

wife mentioned my big box came in this am. Ings+ CF splitter. :p

today i towed her to the shop after her tranny blew. This is 5 days after her rims got stolen
