Ken that LOOKS AWESOME. Reminds me of the front lip I had on my RX7. Do you have a side view of it? Just wondering if it still "flows" well with the car with the OEM skirts.... or does the new splitter sit so far down?

Also, where did you get and how much? simple install? Oh and is it REAL cf?

yep, i was originally going to do the top-secret CF one but due to the CF fangs i have on (which scuffed the ends of the bumper opening during install i cant really remove it now ) i didnt have too many choices left... im guessing that this one will fit under the CF fangs without doing any cutting. and yes, the one i got is real CF and was 675 shipped. they are also offered in FRP for less. got it from drivelinestore.com

the splitter is small enough i dont need to do the sides. not sure how much lower it is vs the stock sport front diffuser yet, but i dont think it's any lower which is a big plus for me.

here's where i first saw this lip installed...

Ings+1 Front Lip Carbon

ok that looks really nice. Although I am concerned about scraping that... I don't know if I could ever relax knowing that I have 675 bucks worth of a splitter perhaps scraping whenever I get on my driveway I've already scraped the stock front diffuser on the road

also what did you mean by this?
"the splitter is small enough i dont need to do the sides. "

i meant that the splitter is small in profile so i dont need to do side skirts.

yah if you're already scraping the sport front diffuser you will probably scrape this one too. the Z already looks great without a front lip so this is just a preference thing.

The drilling doesn't scare me, it's not having an OEM template that does. Measure twice, drill once FTW!

Hopefully I'll have it installed tomorrow evening, I'll put up a couple of pics.

Hey sounds like fun.

I unboxed the Ings. As with the mines, some prepwork needed. So will work on sanding that tonight.. . I should probably take it in to get some clearcoat too...

Tried to get my Nismo shift knob on, couldn't get the stock knob off...I am now drinking to ease the pain of being beaten by the stock knob...

Anywho, might drive her tomorrow...pretty nasty weather the next couple days...
