So the Z's are practical to take on long mileage vacations. BTW we have been doing this for a long time. Our ages are 67 and 65 and we can pretty much drive what we want to. So the long and short of it is the Z's are great road cars also...................

ahah Im about to be 20 and my back was hurting like someone who is 67. It may have been caused by football even though I have never had this problem before and have made the drive to many times to remember.

Im not disagreeing with you on the issue that the z is a ton of fun to drive long distances, but the seats to me at least are no where near the comfort level that I have been used to on other cars over long distances.

Thank God I'm not the oldest on this site! (58 and 54) You forgot to add that not only can we afford to drive what we want, our insurance is a lot lower RP

My daily drive is around 350miles and have been using 07 G35 sedan, very comfy along with 19@ wheels and aftermakert springs.

Coming to the Z seats just kills me afters the trip mainly on the thighs, they start aching LOL...usually i keep the seat at the lowest mark not sure if thats the reasons and on top of that road noise plus the FI drone on 80-90m/hr speed

for city driving or short trips I love it.

Ya just gotta love "geezers" in Solid Red 370s doin' long haul trips. At least I hope so 'cuz I am one (66). I did this trip last summer - about 4,500 miles. A new adventure this summer...camping in Yosemite.

I agree. My 370 is my dedicated daily driver, mainly city - to and fro work. I've been on a number of day trips over the last year and is great for short trips, but I couldn't see myself taking it for the long haul.

i'm 5'9", 160 lbs, 26 years old and I just did a 6 hr roundtrip. Observations:

1. The base seats are not comfortable period. My last car was an 07 s2000 and even tho that thing was cramped up inside, the seats were excellent for long drives. The touring models are miles ahead but the base is no good.

2. Road noise is a problem when the road gets rocky. Even with my entire car pretty much dynamatted, it was loud and my threshold for loudness is pretty high.

3. My sound system helped a lot. All this road noise + base stereo woulda been disastrous but thanks to my system i was able to drown out the noise a bit.

4. Suspension is great. Perfect balance of fun and comfort.

5. Motor is excellent. Plenty of torque to leave it in 6th all day long through uphills at hwy speeds.

I think next time i will take my dad's minivan. While i enjoyed certain aspects of the car, this car is definitely not road trip friendly.

My thoughts exactly.

Are you serious?
