Well, I found some threads and seats that would fit a 370z apparently.... I'd want to go to a store and try them out first... but again, it's that same question. Do I want to lay out so much money, just to lay out even more for new seats. Some of those suckers are expensive!

Ergonomics is a subjective topic, and opinions will vary. I'm very comfy in my Touring Coupe, personally.

The Z is great on long hauls. I spent 11 hours in it yesterday and felt great!

I have no complains about the seats. However, I live in California, the roads are terrible in all major cities. Noise is a huge discomfort.
Anybody know who makes noise dampening stuff for this car?

ZBW39: So, it's not just Puerto Rico with terrible roads, huh??!! Surprise, surprise! And CA is one of the most expensive states, I've read. Crazy, man, crazy. I guess politicians are the same everywhere, and there are only two types of 'em: The WORSE and the WORST!

6'4", 270 lbs. My knees get a bit stiff and cramped after a few hours driving. But I love it too much to really complain.

Well. If I have to go with replacement seats...I'm going to have to pass on a Z...And that is killing me. I love the look.

When I was looking at seats for my FJ I test sat most replacement seats and they were either too stiff, or the bolsters pinched my back or butt.

The one seat I'm told will work (but I couldn't find the seat or installer in CO) is a Reccaro seat.

Well possibly consider a used G37 coupe, my sport seats are more than comfortable to me heated and adjustable bolsters and lumbar support although the car is a few ticks slower, it is a little quieter and more subdued to outside noise as well...but again slower.

But there is other options to stay in the same "family".

Just drove to naples fl from houston and it was not the best ride. It was awesome to drive but I had to use a pillow because my lower back was killing me.

The wife and I took our then new 2009 370 on a 3000 mile + vacation last summer and really enjoyed it. The summer before vacation we spent 7000 miles behind the wheel of our then 2003 350. So the Z's are practical to take on long mileage vacations. BTW we have been doing this for a long time. Our ages are 67 and 65 and we can pretty much drive what we want to. So the long and short of it is the Z's are great road cars also...................
