Do Miles Really matter?

This is really a silly question.

You should know that the "average" annual mileage for a daily driven car is about 12,000 miles. You are WELL under that average and, if you perform proper maintenance, you should expect your vehicle to last a LONG time.

Maintenance is key. It doesn't really how many miles you put on a car, it matters how well you take care of it.

Obviously some cars are more prone to failing before others. It's the makes that are built to very close manufacturing tolerances and high quality standards that can generally be expected to last the longest, but that's not to say an old piece of junk 1980 GM vehicle couldn't go for a million miles with the proper maintenance.
