I took my 2nd long road trip since I bought my Z last May. The only difference between the first trip was I had under 1100 miles on the car

I took my 2nd long road trip since I bought my Z last May. The only difference between the first trip was I had under 1100 miles on the car and traffic was heavy. My avg mpg was 22. I have to say I was disappointed. On this recent trip with 11,600 miles on the odometer at speeds between 75 - 90 100+ on ocassion I was able to avg 26.4. These engines definately do better after 10K miles.

I think if you're getting 22+ mpg in the city, you're driving it like a sissy. I don't fall below 4k RPMs unless I'm stopped.
