Good to know we're not that far from 300whp stock with the Nismos. Gives me a good idea of what I'll be after a few upgrades.

well if you are worried about torque numbers get a twin turbo Z32. those things make ridiculous amounts of torque.

Specialty tuned Z ECU
Specialty Z 3" turbo back
Light Weight Flywheel
JWT Dual POP Charger
Stock Turbos
740 cc Injectors
300 Degree fuel rail
UR Pulley set
boost controller
intercoolers

that'll get you around 470hp and around 520ft-lbs.
to the wheels of course .

no no no lets not degrade ourselves to that and keep this nissan. All i have to say is there are guys here with just the sport package and three mods later are are near 320-330. Really the nismo isn't all that great

Thing is with Nismo, you won't see big numbers (if any) from upgrading your catback.. so we're back to square 1

I think if I upgraded my CBE, I'd see a small gain in numbers. Looking at the Nismo CBE design, it's much closer to the stock CBE than Stillen/FI/etc designs. Would I expect a 20 whp gain? Nope, but I wouldn't be surprised by a 5-12 whp gain.

I think the hp difference between stock and Nismo is from the tune, not the CBE. Of course, I'm no expect, and it's certainly not anything more than my opinion.

this is dynojet?

I wonder why mine only read 268whp/220t. must've been real cold where that was tested?

a question, my lsd overheated a while back and needed it's oil replaced. could it have affected the numbers?

Respected my friend, I think it's more of a 50-50 though, a tune on it's own would barely yield anything without improved breathing

I would LOVE to see what a normal 370z puts out on that dyno, because their stock 350z put out 257whp. So that's roughly a 30whp difference. Which is pretty close to the difference that a normal 370z has over a stock 350z. It is a bit higher though, so the numbers make sense. I think a normal 370z would've read in the 290 range on that dyno on that day.
