The Z vs The Porsche

So I was jumping on the Mass Pike today ( for those of you who dont live in Boston, MA, this is the main highway) and I drove right up next to a fairly new Porsche Carrera 4. The guy looked at me and smirked and floored it..........being a new Z owner and wanting to "represent" I followed in pursuit. I typically am not the kind of driver to do this, but after hitting high speeds, I was VERY surprised to see that I kept up with this Porsche very easily. In really tight turns he had a little more traction i feel like, his back tires were HUGE....so he might have had me there..........SOOOOO my question is, has anyone else experienced going against a Porsche, particularly the Carrera 4 or any other models??? I happen to think the Z did very well, and I know this was highway driving as opposed to the track, but im interested to see if anyone else has stories about Z's vs Porsches.................
