What does the VDC do?

I turn it off every time I drive it, even in rain. I just don't see a need for it. I'm not pushing the car hard enough on the street

I'm not pushing the car hard enough on the street where I'm going to get myself into trouble, and even if I do this car is predictable enough that it's not going to be an issue. Just make sure you are opening up the steering wheel as you are feeding in the throttle and all is good .
