What does the VDC do?

Has anyone tested the car without VDC on and with the TC fuse pulled? Notice any additional power linearity and torque? Was considering the idea of wiring in a switch

Was considering the idea of wiring in a switch to one of my extra three center console buttons which runs to the Bosch module so that you could fully disable traction control if you wanted to via a quick switch.
