Ever thought that the reason we have all these stupid rules that "made America soft" is because something awful happened with someone rode in the back of a pickup as a kid and the pickup got into an accident, rode a bike with no helmet and flipped over, climbed trees and jumped out of them and broken a leg, shot bottle rockets at each other and suffered an eye injury? You chuckle about it, but I'm sure there's plenty who aren't laughing with you.

For the love of God, this thread needs to be locked already.

Oh, and I'm not picking on your example of lawn darts. Who the hell still plays lawn darts?
