Just got my car back, he managed to get all of the water spots, outside of a few on the hood. Quick question though - there were a few superficial

Just got my car back, he managed to get all of the water spots, outside of a few on the hood. Quick question though - there were a few superficial scratches that on first glance, appeared to be gone, bu when I got it home, I noticed they were still there only at certain angles. I also can't feel them with my fingernail. Any reason why I can still see them?
