Since the ladies are introducing themselves, I'm hoping our 50 and older set will also take a bow. I'm 62 and enjoying owning, tinkering with and driving my new Z.

50 or Older Z Owners Take A Bow
Since the ladies are introducing themselves, I'm hoping our 50 and older set will also take a bow.
I'm 62 and enjoying owning, tinkering with and driving my new Z. Always loved sports cars---this one's arguably the best of a lifetime. Got it for my "pre-retirement" gift to myself. Went all the way and got a RED one! A big difference in getting a Z when you're older is that fewer family and work responsibilities provide even more free time to enjoy cruising. |

I'm 59 today and enjoy my '10 Z roadster. Living in sunny South Florida and have not put the top up yet. This is my first Z vert but my 6th Z overall...and by far the best of the bunch.

I'm 57 and have had a sports car of some kind since I was 30. My Z is one of the best I have owned to date. I get looks all the time from the younger crowd and I know they are thinking "look at that old codger in the yellow Z". I don't care - age has nothing to do with the number of years you have been alive. I have a very good friend that bought his Z three days after I got mine that is in his mid eighties. He's one of the youngest old guys I know.

51 and enjoying life more everyday. But your right, I do get a lot of looks and double takes with a old fart driving a bright yellow 370Z. Reliving my youth and now I can afford to play with my toys more.

48 here but I feel younger. I actually think the Z was meant for the older crowd when it was concieved. For the longest Ive only seen older guys in new Zs until a years ago when they started lowering the standards for loaning money. Now that banks are back to being picky you might not see as many younger guys buying them likke you did a couple of years ago. But the Z really is a car for all ages. I think the older guys wont mod the looks as much as some of the younger guys.

Crap! All you older guys have yellow Z's like me, does that mean I'm old? Also, I'm almost 27.
To contribute, my father who likes sports cars a lot(he's had numerous vettes and an SRT-10 Viper) is seriously considering getting a 40th anniversary Z. He's 55. |
