I live in OH though and even though I am seriously considering parking the car in a barn for December-March, I have to be realistic that the top will be up a lot. Amusingly, my bad weather car is also a convertible though. I used to park my Jeep with the top off very regularly and it has been rained in several times. Jeeps are made to be rained in and even the stereo seems to be pretty resilient to getting wet. I have a feeling that if it ever rained in my Saab with the top down, I would have to replace a lot of electronics. If I buy a brand new $35-40k sports car I am going to be damn sure that it doesn't get rained in. |
