I can't speak for anybody else, but I hated the sound of the doors locking each time I went anywhere. I have been driving since 1992 and I've never been in a situation either as driver or passenger where the door suddenly came open. In fact if my car were to ever become submerged in an accident I'd much rather have the doors unlocked than locked.

Electrical components continue to work for several minutes in a submerged car.( saw it on TV)

Well if the was damaged in an accident who's to say whether everything will work properly or not..? That aside having to fumble for the locks, and then opening the doors is an extra step I wouldn't want to deal with. BTW this sort of accident occured recently and two of four people were killed when they were unable to exit the car.

I prefer mine locked because if someone were to try to carjack me, it might give me 2 extra seconds to draw my gun. But that's just me.

If I lived in a highly trafficked urban area I would do the same.

Wait, so the doors auto lock but don't open when u pull the handle? My car auto locks but all I have to do is pull the door handle and it opens (no need to press the unlock button and then open the door). I agree, I think the auto lock features is to prevent "other" people from getting into the car, rather than the passenger and driver opening it accidentally.

Correct. You have to shut the car down, to automatically unlock the doors. I found this a bit irritating when I took my buddys girl for a spin yesterday - went to drop her off, pulled the E-brake...and she cant get out lol. IMHO, if the car's at 0, and the E-brake is pulled in the stick, those doors should be unlocked.

Default Any actual issues that has not been resolved?

not to hijack this thread, are there any real serious concerns with the drivetrain, tranny, or something serious...all these issues noted are mere tadbits that come with any vehicle. If you know of a perfect vehicle, then you should of bought that instead.

I can't believe so many folks complained about the rear wiper missing on the 370... it was absolutely terrible looking on the 350, ruins the lines of the 350 completely... actually that was one of the reasons why I never bought a 350, the wiper just ruined the look for me - I am so happy to see it gone for the 370 ...

I think the mirrors should be heated, although I can't say it would annoy me as much as some of the other users seem to be...
