The car should have a "sport" setting for the stability control. The standard is too restrictive and when it's off I get into trouble at times. A sport mode that that allows for more agressive drving would be good. Many cars have it.

And again, the heated mirrors is not luxury, it's safety, especially with the blindspots in this car.

I'm pretty picky and I have no problems with the clutch in my car.

Do not have that problem.

Clutch does feels a little different with the S mode on but nothing to complain about. I love the RevMatch so much, I still haven't turned it off since I left the dealer!

Rear visablity issue. In the 370z you cant see through the little port hole behind you like the 350, i would turn my head to look through this window just to make sure.

But there is 2 positives that make up for it.

#1 the 370z side view mirrors are fatter and pick up more it feels like to me.
#2 the rear window is not as high up (or long) wich means i cant get a good distance view behind me, but its wider at top wich means i can see whos behind me from the left or to the right more so.

The Car is loud but so was my 2005 350z, i could never talk on the phone with it, so its the same to me, i will take the noise and i shoudlnt talk on my phone anyways. I think 2006+ had alot of sound deading added to them, so i never got that benifit.

Front windows feel smaller but not a big issue just a difference from a 350z.

I would also like if nissan wouldn't had made the door handle so bulky and big. It shouldn't stick out and should blend in with the door (aero dynamics) and it shouldn't effect it but it's better than sticking out like the way it is.

The c6 vette has an inverted door handle, where you reach inside a hole. While functional for aerodynamics, I don't think it adds much to the looks. I think the Z's handles seem to give it character. That being said, I did have a door come ajar in a carwash when the bristles were going horizontal.

The dealer told me that my HOMELINK is bad going to replace with a new one. This shouldn't have happened BUT it free. also called the 800 number and told them what happened.

Sat radio capability in the base model. Having to option leather seats to be able to listen to digital quality radio is the kind of crap that you'ld expect from GM.....

The oil temp guage should be a pressure guage with a digital temp read out under the needle. Oil pressure shouldn't be a idiot light in that contraption on the left......

When they were figuring how to save $2 they should have given the aluminum peddles to the sport pkg, not the 'touring'. They got it backwards....

1) It needs a glove box that can at least fit the manual. I'm usually not picky about these sort of things, but come on...

2) Deeper trunk. The trunk is z pretty good size, but the depth is a serious problem for me. As far as the touring model is concerned, the subs seem to take up a little more space, so I'm wondering if it's better in the base model? Just a couple more inches deep would have made the trunk perfect, imo.

AndreZ Cadena,

There is a group of buyers that Nissan has managed to recapture with the advent of the 370Z; these buyers want the Z's power, when needed, and prefer the extra amenities to enjoy the Z for everyday driving. In Japan the Fairlady Z (Z34) already has most of the options Pushing Tin is requesting.

The manual transmission shifts smooth as silk, haven't had any problems or vibrations whatsoever. Perhaps I'm just used to the drive by wire throttle having owned a G35.

Blind spot was weird at first but you get used to it quick.

Road noise is loud at highway speeds but doesn't bother me much.

I think oil temp is going to be my main concern. It got to over 220 on a 32F degree day when in traffic, doesn't give me much hope for a warm day. Apparently they designed the oil to be cooled by the water circulating through the engine block but I don't think it's going to be enough. An after market oil cooler may be necessary if your going to do track days.

The engine and handling however make me forget about it's minor faults.

Thank you, I know for a fact that many car companies regularly read the various message boards to see how their cars are being received and what people like and dislike about them. I love my car but it's not perfect.
