yah, i had a diamond white pearl car in the past and being a picky guy that i am i noticed differences between the sheetmetal and plastic color too. it's basically due to not being painted at the same session. the metallic particles are not oriented the same way so the light reflection is different.
but this is also pretty obvious on my silvers too. like my 370z' hatch silver is different in some lighting conditions vs the roof. or the gas cover appears a different silver vs quarter panel, etc in different lighting conditions. |
