Official purchase with Robert's VPP! Thanks again ($1700 under invoice)!

BalanBro 03-23-2010 09:45 PM

Might be getting VPP on a 40th. Does this mean we would have to take delivery by March 31st, or just sign the contract by then? It would be easier for me to wait until the following weekend, but if it works out, I can expidite to be on the safe side.

Fly1 Motorsports 03-24-2010 12:54 AM

Thanks!

VPP worked like a charm for me here in SoCal (Buena Park Nissan). $2,000 below invoice. Thanks again Robert!

Robert,

Got this link from another forum and sent an email yesterday and PM last night to be safe. Hopefully I can get a claim number before too late.

Thanks for doing this.:tiphat:

Got a claim number from Robert. Got 5K off of sticker price-(out the door) here in Lewisville TX. Hassle free buying experience. Dealership treat me like a VIP!! Thank you Robert.

Hey Robert! I know you're totally swamped with requests and all... but I just wanted to ask out in the open so maybe someone else could chime in too... Is the VPP deal only good for 1 household? Things have changed here in the last few days, and I definitely want to take advantage of this as well if at all possible.

Again, I know I'm not alone in saying how much I appreciate you doing this for all of us!

Not quite sure what you mean by "one household" - do you mean can he only issue one per household? I would think the person's name would have to be unique so you might be able to get one per person per household. Let's see what Robert says.

Well he just PM'd me and said it wasn't a problem. AWESOME! :D

Thanks Robert!

Hey everyone!

I've caught up with everything I had waiting up through right now.

I'm going to leave the thread open for a few days and, as I've said earlier, I'll still try to fill everyone's requests up through and including the 31st but I'll be traveling over this weekend so the earlier you ask the better!

The response has been incredible and I appreciate it.

CrownR426 03-24-2010 03:46 PM

Robert, you the man with the masta plan!

BalanBro 03-24-2010 10:25 PM

I just signed a contract for VPP on a 40th. Hoping to take delivery on Saturday. What a great and hassle-free experience; I can't thank you enough, Robert!

SE 03-25-2010 01:18 AM

Sent you an email!

iggy 03-26-2010 12:01 AM

Sent you an email as well! My dealer accepts VPP and is just waiting for the claim number! Appreciate your help!

Robert_Nash 03-26-2010 09:55 AM

Folks,

I've caught up with everything I had pending up until now...I'm traveling this weekend and will be leaving my office in a couple of hours so I likely won't be able to issue any more claim numbers until Monday morning (which doesn't leave a lot of time to make a purchase by the 31st.).

However, for anyone who asks I'll do my best to respond quickly.

I'm getting my roadster out of the garage this weekend - hope you all have a chance to get your wheels out as well!

efuseakay 03-26-2010 02:17 PM

Have a great weekend Robert! Thanks to you, both me and the mother upgraded. lol

A 2010 G37xS sedan for me, and a 2010 M35x for mom.

Took delivery on a '10 Graphite Nismo this weekend. Thanks Bob!!!!!

Tresfr 03-28-2010 02:38 AM

Sorry for the late VPP request PM Sent

I have a black Nissan Murano and just sold my 07 JCW Cooper S and want a matching black 370Z. If there is any way you could make this happen in such a short period of time it would be great.

Did they give you the BS story about the "window etching"??? I walked out of there last year because they INSISTED I get the window etching because "IT WAS PRINTED ON THE SALES SHEET"... Maybe they wised up. Also what about their doc fees? They too were high and PRINTED on the sales sheet.

vaio23 03-28-2010 06:17 PM

Picking up my 2010 G37S on Tuesday $6500 below MSRP, Thanks Robert.

iggy 03-28-2010 11:23 PM

Picked up my 2010 PG Roadster Touring last night $1900 below invoice thanks to you!!! Keep up the good work!!

Patel511 03-29-2010 01:54 AM

Is it still possible to get the VPP? I want a Z too...

duke1 03-29-2010 09:36 AM

Picked up a 2010 G37 Coupe Journey Sport with Premium, Nav, Spoiler, Black Grille, Splash Guards, and Trunk Net.& Mat.

MSRP was 46,260. Paid 39,274 plus TTL. That’s the VPP price plus $1500 cash back from Infiniti.

Dealer doc. fees were waived and they had windows tinted at their cost.

Thanks a few thousand Robert.

The deal is good until this Wednesday. If you can get a VPP from Robert before then, you can definitely take advantage!

Robert_Nash 03-29-2010 12:24 PM

Ok everyone...I'm caught up as of this posting so if anyone has contacted me by PM or by email and haven't heard back from me, please let me know.

As I've mentioned before, while I can issue claim numbers up to and including Wednesday the 31st; realistically, if you haven't asked me for a claim number and essentially already have the deal worked out, it's going to be difficult if not impossible to get the deal done by/on the 31st.

I again want to thank everyone for the response; it's been quite incredible!!!

:tiphat:

Will the VPP program be extended?

Robert_Nash 03-31-2010 10:28 AM

No; sorry, today (March 31st) is the last day...this is in conjunction with the end of our fiscal year so since the fiscal year ends, so does this promotion.

That's not to say they won't do something like it in the future but I've no idea if they will or not...this one took me by surprise!

Robert_Nash 03-31-2010 01:16 PM

Program close - thanks to all!!!

Well; time to bring this to a close. As of this moment, I've issued 139 VPP claim numbers since the program was announced on February 22nd. I know some of you ended up not using the claim number for various reasons but that's still an incredible and much appreciated response.

I don't know when or if Nissan will have a similar promotion but if they do, I'll let everyone know.

Many of you have asked how to "thank me"...while the sentiment is appreciated; the best way to thank me is to GET INVOLVED with your local Z or G club and if you don't have one in your area, start one...attend a Z event (no matter where you live I'd be willing to bet that you can find a Z event within reasonable driving distance and driving to/from is half the fun anyway!)...come to ZCON 2010 in Nashville this summer!!!

In short, support the Z community - this year marks the 40th anniversary of the Z and I remember the first one I ever drove (it was 1973 in North Chicago)...the Z has endured in large part because of the Z community so if you enjoy and appreciate the Z one of the best ways you can show that is to be an active part of the Z community.

Best wished to all - I hope you all enjoy your new rides!!! :driving:

Robert
