Wow...Impatient bunch are we! :)

I've caught up with everyone that has contacted me up to this moment.

Again, however, I do have a pretty aggressive spam filter on my personal email and I've concerned that some email sent to my home email address may get caught in that filter...SO...if you've emailed me through the forum or otherwise and haven't gotten a response that may be what happened.

Overall, the best way to reach me for this is through the PM system here.

Thanks!!!

Good looking out Robert. I hope I get lucky. PM sent

Coming from a 350z to 370z could possibly be easier now thanks to you!

1ahB 03-10-2010 09:52 PM

PM Sent. I really appreciate all the help you guys are contributing. My dreams could be a reality soon if I can get a dealership in the Vegas area or within a couple hundred miles to comply.

Did I do my math right on your formula spreadsheet for a 40th anniversary?

MSRP--------INVOICE
$38,860.00---$35,747.00 Without Plan
$34,923.53---$34,366.53 With Plan

So the dealership would have to give me the car at $34,366.53 before taxes & fees? Or is the $34,923.53 number. That seems pretty hard to swing unless I am just way off? Thanks in advance everyone!

Robert_Nash 03-11-2010 02:27 PM

Wow...we are almost halfway through the Month of March already!!!

While I can issue numbers even up to March 31st, realistically, I would HIGHLY SUGGEST that if you are going to or think you are going to take advantage of this that you contact me no later than March 23rd both to give me time to get the claim number issued and you time to find the vehicle you want and close the deal by the 31st.

Thanks to all the MANY of you that have already requested claim numbers from me...the response has been terrific!

Spreadsheet is a little confusing down near the bottom - the numbers on the top show MSRP and Invoice for everything without the plan. The $34,923.53 is if you get the car with the Plan but pay MSRP for all the Options while the $34,366.53 is if you get the car with the Plan but pay Invoice for all the Options. I would expect you to be somewhere in that range. Note that those numbers don't include Destination & Handling as well as taxes, tags, etc. and also assumes the dealers will participate with you on the 40th Anniv Edition model - good luck and let us know what happens.

1ahB 03-12-2010 01:59 AM

Robert thanks so much for the VPP claim info. I now have the paperwork I need to at least be ready to commit to a deal if any dealers throw me a bone. I live in Las Vegas and so far have found about 5 different 40th anniversarys for sale in town. Most are tagged at 40-42k on the window. I'm going to call each one trying to convince them to work with a VPP. Any other suggestions as to any dealerships within a decent distance to Las Vegas that could possibly play ball would be greatly appreciated. If none of them bite I guess I'm going to have to settle for a PG 6MT +Sport and put the money saved into it.

antivirus6613 03-14-2010 01:21 AM

Sent a PM, hoping to snag one ASAP. They're getting hard to find now...

1ahB 03-14-2010 05:40 PM

Hey Robert,

Thanks to your VPP and me spending 5 hours calling Nissan's around the area I have found a 40th at the VPP price! This is from another thread but I wanted to post it here because you guys seem to really know this stuff:

Talked to about 5 dealerships and most of them said they would not honor the VPP plan on the 40th edition. Finally one of them realized they aren't going to get MSRP on this thing and played ball.

Sale Price with VPP Plan B: $34929.88
The total OTD with dealer documentation, title, and tax comes to: $38,911.00.

The dealer has not broken down exactly what costs what on the OTD price. I live in NV so the taxes should bring it to $37,759.20 which means there is $1151.80 that I am not quite sure about on the OTD pricing. I think the $720 destination fee is part of that which leaves $431.80 that I am unsure of.

This OTD price is the first possible price they have brought me and I have not negotiated back at all yet. Can anyone suggest what I should counter with? I know the price is already great but I still think these guys sound like they are willing to budge a little more.

medford 03-15-2010 12:22 AM

Thanks Robert

Thanks to Robert I now own a new Z. Picked up a 2009 Brilliant Silver Touring 6mt with sport and nav, mats, kicks...loaded. VPP discount was applied to everything including the add ons and no other fees in the deal. No tax here in Oregon, needless to say I am very happy with the deal. No muss no fuss no dickering with a salesman. Easiest car I have ever purchased.

eric3621 03-16-2010 02:19 PM

Hey Robert, PM sent! Thanks so much for helping us out with this program. I would love to grab a 370Z but the wife says I can't have a 2-seater! Oh well, a 2010 G37S will just have to do!!! Thanks again!

psimmon 03-16-2010 09:49 PM

Anyone happen to know if the VPP is valid in Canada?

Robert_Nash 03-17-2010 05:42 PM

To the best of my knowledge, this particular program is for the U.S. residents only.

Robert_Nash 03-17-2010 05:43 PM

I believe I've caught up with all the requests I've received by email/PM as of this moment...if you've sent me a request and haevn't heard back from me please contact me again.

Thank!

eric3621 03-17-2010 09:25 PM

Just wanted to thank Robert one more time. He is the man!! Seriously glad I found this forum!! I'll post pics of my new G if things work out tomorrow!!

Mag350Z 03-18-2010 01:20 PM

Robert,
how does this work exactly?
For example if I am interested in a 2010 370Z Base with Sport Package 6MT from Royal Palm Nissan in South Florida?

Thank you

Adam

My original post has some basic data and the link I provided there has a lot more.

Essentially, I'd suggest that the first thing you need to do is find a dealer that will participate in the VPP program on a 370z...since you already know that a particular dealer has the car you are looking for, obviously I would start with that dealer but if he won't participate I'm sure you can find one who will.

Beyond that, once the exact car is picked out, the dealer sells you the vehicle at the predetermined actual invoice price of the vehicle less the 4.3% discount (there are some things that can be added to that but they are limited to things like taxes, dealer installed options that were not on the vehicle when it left the factory, etc).

It's a no-haggle deal at a discount that, except in very unusual circumstances, will be a better deal than you can ever hope to negotiate on your own...the dealer makes a predetermined fee as his "profit" for handling the sale and you get a good deal!

do you need a VIN for a specific vehicle?

Mag350Z 03-18-2010 02:18 PM

spoke with my dealer, they do in fact participate in the program and said this would be by far the best price i could be offered
how many times a year is this VPP offered?

thank you

Yes, before you can complete a deal you need the claim number and the vehicle vin number.

This promotion ends on March 31 and the deal has to happen on or before the 31st.

LexusZ 03-18-2010 07:02 PM

Hey Robert I sent you a PM wasn't sure if you received it

dat370zguy 03-19-2010 12:35 AM

ok so I don't have to work with any of the vpp associated companies? I just have to pm my info to Nash as listed on page one, get a vpp number and cash in? Also another Q, if the car is already listed @ $31,375(09 manual/touring/non-sport) how much lower would this vpp program make the price of said Z? Or is the vpp only valid for 10's?

Robert, I got a really nice PM from one of the guys on the G37 site that I mentioned this thread to, who upgraded from his '08 to a shiny '10..

....psst, that's a hint to green pip him, you bunch-o-idiots!

I appreciate the suggestion but for those who really want to thank me, just come to ZDayZ 2010 and/or ZCON2010 this year!!!

I'll be at both in a 2010 Black Cherry Roadster (which may or may not include the Basset Hound! :)

zlance 03-19-2010 02:17 PM

Yes! I got one too - thanks to Robert! I picked it up Saturday March 6th - so I've had it almost 2 weeks. 2010 Pearl White A/T with Sports pkg.

Thanks again Robert!

I had been communicating with several dealers over several months. I bought mine from Billy Ray nissan in Longwood, FL. New-Inventory Bill Ray Nissan Longwood FL

ANDY RODRIGUEZ (407-212-7630 Direct Line) was the salesman I was dealing with for months - he always seemed to have the best price, but in my situation I just couldn't quite make it happen until I go the VPP from Robert. Also the finance manager JOHN LEGGIO was great to deal with, he worked on the financing with me until we reached my magic number.

Billy Ray Nissan has a 2009 Sports/Touring PW A/T that he also gave me a good price on. Also a Yellow 2009 w/ sports & A/T. Looks like they have 3 - 40th Anniversary Zs there now! If you contact them - tell them Zlance sent you, hopefully you can still get the VPP from Robert (it expires March 31st I believe).

Another great guy I dealt with (but didn't have my color & combination in stock) was:
Jason Whidden
General Manager
AutoWay Nissan of Brandon
9920 Adamo Drive
Tampa, FL 33619
813 739 3401
whiddenj@autonation.com

SlikNick bought his from this dealership and spoke highly of them.

370Z JT 03-19-2010 07:53 PM

This sounds crazy, but I have been getting missed calls from an "unknown number", then today I finally answered the call. Turns out it was someone from Nissan VPP department asking if I used the claim number yet. She said if not, Nissan VPP is taking off an additional $1,000 off on top of the VPP pricing. Can anyone confirm this? Crazy deals are to be had if this is true!

eric3621 03-20-2010 12:15 AM

I just picked up my 2010 G37S 7AT with premium/nav/sport all thanks to Robert and the VPP code he got me. Sticker was $45055 and my sale price was $38970! Just a smoking deal! Once again, many thanks to Robert for hooking me (and many others) up!!!

sjilzian 03-20-2010 09:10 AM

sent you a pm Robert. Thanks for your help!!

Your post is the first I've heard of this - there has not been anything official communicated to us at the corporate office.

That is not to say the info is wrong...it may be true but I certainly can't confirm it.

I just took delivery of my 2010 red vert 370Z Touring with all options except nav. I saved $1800 using the VPP # Bob sent me. It could not have been easier.

Hopefully there will be something in the future... :)
