A: the Z is under florescent lighting making the color appear lighter then it really is.

B: on the japanese Site, Nissan lists both Colors and codes as the same. LeMans Blue.

First off great find on the MB with permision. This will still be the combo i will more than likely go with even if it is more metallic than LSB. As for the r33 and Z i think the Z in all the pictures still has a little more metallic pop over the r33, even though in that last set it looked very close. I really think it all comes down to lighting the camera used and so forth like someone already stated. I know at least with LSB the same camera will never capture the color the same way twice, there is always a slight difference from shoot to shoot. It seems that the MB and the color on the r33 are the same as well.
