No heat gun! Lift an edge, grasp and pull firmly at a low angle toward the edge you lifted. The tension will pull the film from the panel. You should not peel toward the edge opposite of the lifted edge to minimize risk of pulling paint. Pulling paint is however uncommon. Remove any adhesive residue with goo gone or the like.
