Sciatic nerve issues are a nightmare.
If it's the piriformis pressing on the sciatic nerve, then the solution will be stretching it, massaging it and it should stop eventually. If the issue is vertebrae related, i.e. slipped/herniated disc, then a pillow might help - a smaller pillow added just between your middle back and above your butt, to push the lumbar part of your spine more forward will help. Also, probably you want to raise the seat just a little bit.
