Just take the car home and wash, wax, etc. yourself and you will be fine. One bad wash will not kill the car, but you can always ask them not

Just take the car home and wash, wax, etc. yourself and you will be fine. One bad wash will not kill the car, but you can always ask them not to do certain things. My dealership was nice enough to do, my arrived, was checked then sat in the shop indoors for a day until I could pick it up.
