Default 370z not working

My z had a battery light on. it would not start after attempting to turn it on multiple times. I tested the battery but it was good to go. I then decided to buy an alternator. after trying to jump start it, it just wouldn't turn on. I used two jumper cables and managed to turn on the car. I was test driving it when it started flashing my dash lights. it was like it wanted to die on me. but it didn't and I made it home safe. I turned it off, waited a couple of seconds, and then tried turning it on. this time, not even the dash lights turned on after attempting to turn it on. it was absolutely dead. I can only turn on my car using jumper cables. but even sometimes it just won't turn on.

It would be much appreciated if I got some feedback from y'all.
