Nissan 370Z Forum

My experience with Pinebelt Nissan in Toms River...Very Professional lol

I would have been uncomfortable to be on either end of this conversation. If I was the salesman, I would have just told the customer he could either speak to

I would have been uncomfortable to be on either end of this conversation.

If I was the salesman, I would have just told the customer he could either speak to a manager or go to one of the other dealers he was already speaking with.

If I was the customer, I would have said "ok, thank you", and called someone else.

He lost the sale. in the age of the internet, the car shopper is King.

I have to add to my earlier post. I neglected to mention that the dealer I wound up buying from also has an "Internet Salesperson". She quoted me $1500 higher than the deal I made with the Sales Manager. And she would not come down in price and kept sending me emails 3x's daily asking me to come down and talk. Basically she spammed me for a week.

I think dealers are still trying to come to grips with the age of the internet.
