What were those disks before the floppy disc? They were much bigger (like 4x bigger) but really slim and black.

Remember on AIM how you could warn another person and if they reached 100%, they would have to wait a few hours before they could sign back in? lol

Those were the reason they were called floppy disks. 5 1/4" floppies.
What about the Bernoulli "toaster" drives, and Zip drives?

I still have some flip phones from Alltel …. going to try them in Fontana to see if I can get a signal
