Notchy shifting and feeling bumps while shifting in to gear

If you have Rev match turned on, it will “Rev” when you shake the stick in neutral. I’m guessing there’s some kind of relay that tells the motor you’re in between gears and to “match” the revs, maybe your synchros or going?

Makes me think that if my trans starts shifting like butter, I’m going to have a problem?

I used to love rev-match.. until last weekend when I was logging WOT for my tuner on the interstate. Was at 7500rpm in 4th gear and out of (bad! very bad!) habit popped it into neutral to coast down...

That's only if you shift into gear, correct? In other words, if you just move the shifter in neutral, it wouldn't try to rev match past the redline and you'd have to put the car in gear and release the clutch for the money shift to happen, right?

Well I mean I don’t shake it when I’m still driving it’s usually when I’m stopped and am about to go into first but I’ve noticed that the auto rev match mode will feel a lot more notchy and will be harder to put into gear when driving also when you are driving make sure you are not slamming gears (Ik I sound like those guys I’m sorry) because I’ve noticed it’s getting better day by day if you slightly push it into gear it’ll shift a lot better than putting some force trying to shift into gears

Now that I think about I it could possibly be a trans mount I think I’m going to order the z1 urathaine one
