I guess I am neutral on this subject since I sold my Z in February. I kept hoping that Nissan would upgrade the Z and entice me to buy a newer one. Instead, I got older and have decided to settle down. I replaced my Z with a car that I can drive in all kinds of weather, has lots of room, and still fun to drive. I replaced the Z with a 2019 KIA Stinger GT with AWD.

But only if it comes with Nissan's sweet CVT! Otherwise, no dice!

For 2020, the GTR nismo got new vented carbon fiber fenders, carbon fiber roof, new lighter wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, a new turbo for quicker spool, revised titanium exhaust, new tires, and revised suspension. Some stuff was from the Spec V, some was from the GT3 race car

They'll sell maybe . . . 50 of them?

And Nissan wonders why they don't sell many Z-cars. The 2020 Z looks to me that they handed the car to an intern and said pretty it up. If they don't significantly change it, they should eliminate it. Maybe the factory had just built too many of them 5 years ago and they just keep thinking by adding stickers to them will make someone buy them. Not impressed.

Can anyone confirm they are covered in vynal and its not paint? Not saying paint makes it better, i just like the idea of a non wing sport.

.....I must have missed that part. The 50th comes as a wingless sport package?

I guess I'm not surprised, just disappointed. As a former 40th Anni owner, I'm sad to see the exact same engine 10 years later. Part of me is happy, though, as I won't be tempted to buy this now.

I'm tempted to buy one - if only to load it into a cargo prop and air-drop it, no parachute, through the roof of Nissan HQ.

Get with the folks at Universal and watch fast and furious 7 for the air drop scene.

Air drop might be a little expensive. Just build a cheap ramp and line it up in front of the showroom

And then explain that the extra horsepower from the decals was too much to handle so it's actually Nissan's fault.

The seats are alright. Better then the heritage edition in some kind of way. Still think the 40th anniversary better.

Even though there was no performance upgrades, I really think Nissan did a damn good job with the 40th. Unique exterior paint, unique red interior, unique badging, and just a really clean edition.

It's one thing to give your $29,900 sports car shytjob of badges n stripes n call it an anniversary car.

It's another to take your $114,000 sports car and give it a **** job of badges n stripes n call it an anniversary edition. Nissan has officially gone FULL RETARD

That GT-R should be called the "Simple Jack edition"

By the way... This thread belongs in other vehicles. This is a Z forum. Not a GTR forum.
