What adapter box would this be?

I haven't seen that in many cars. I installed the factory rearview mirror w/monitor and it doesn't do that, then again neither does my Honda or my parents Toyotas.

I know this is an old post. Is there a place to mount an OEM camera on my 2010 Roadster? I do not want an aftermarket one. I have the nav and it shows in the menu an engage and dis-engage feature for a camera.

It would be in the bumper above where the tag is under the lip. That is where the factory camera goes. The car is more than likely already wired for it. You just need to get the camera from Nissan. They may have it as an add on through the parts department.

Can you give me a name and where to purchase the " adapter box". I need to put a backup camera into my 2010 roadster.
Thanks

FWIW, the OEM backup camera does NOT stay on after getting out of reverse, or at least it doesn't in mine. I have a '13 Z with OEM nav and as soon as I shift out of reverse, the screen goes back to the info screen.

They are rude, they insult you, and the burden of proof that something doesn't work is on you. I proved it with pictures, and videos several times and their solution was. WHAT DO YOU WANT US TO DO! "Which really means they won't do anything to help you resolve the issue." Really, absolute worst customer service ever. After paying $900 I expected better. Wouldn't send me a replacement harness or anything which is where I diagnosed the problem too.

The best outfit and solution I've had was with Carkit company. They are in the middle of moving their business to England from New Jersey so it maybe hard to get something ordered right now. The have the best solutions available. Car Kit Company
