For those with spacers

I have to take mine off to pass the PA inspection because they're not permitted to be over 2mm or something. I went the extended stud, 15mm/20mm slip on route.

That being said, I agree with the others about installing spacers yourself - it's super easy. I take them off before inspections and put them back on when I get home... takes me 5 min per tire tops.

So basically every time I get new tires or pads, I have to re-install the spacers?

I want to get this clear because I don't have actual space (or time) to do this so it would be a huge pain.
Just realized you're in California. Wonder if it's one of their crazy laws or regulations? Doesn't really seem like anyone else has this issue.

You hear an echo? Stud replacement is the way to go. I had it using OEM Rays and kept it on since replacing the oem Rays with aftermarket wheels.

I had to have mine removed... I was driving down the road and a dude rolled down his window to tell me that it looked like my rear tire was wobbling. I went straight to place where I had them installed and they told me that they got so hot, they started to warp.

I'm trying to figure out how either style of spacer could warp like that from heat, and how it would get that hot.
