I have to take mine off to pass the PA inspection because they're not permitted to be over 2mm or something. I went the extended stud, 15mm/20mm slip on route.

I went the extended stud, 15mm/20mm slip on route. That being said, I agree with the others about installing spacers yourself - it's super easy. I take them off before inspections and put them back on when I get home... takes me 5 min per tire tops.
