but what about those brick cold days when your chillin with a really hot girl and you want to warm the car up for her and your self without freezing your *** off for like 5 minutes.

My G35 has it, I don't know why we can't get it on the Z?
I'm definetly gonna try to get an aftermarket remote starter tho!

Alternator, wire shorts(burns) and the engine will have problems starting.
Just a big ol mess and a bad investment in the long run imo...

+1 REP! Thanks. I didn't think they ran the wiring that crazy. Stock Push-button start FTW!

I prefer the push button start. When I first sat in one and I got to started it by pushing the button, man that was hella cool.

No problem here with a remote start system on my 6MT 350Z for 3-1/2 years now and I love it during the winter months... I'm guessing the original installer is most likely the source of the problems when issues like this come up... And then again not all remote start systems have the same level of quality.
