I swear dealerships are in cahoots with the banks to offer low interest on 'certified' pre-owned cars. I don't believe there is a legal definition for a 'certified' used car (pre-owned is just a fancy way of saying used).

OP, I'm not really sure what to say. That's probably one of the worst deals I've heard. I really, honestly hope you can work a refund. Thats robbing in broad daylight.

According to a friend that works in Nissan corporate, all Nissans sold as CPO by a Nissan dealership has to pass this inspection check list:

cpo.nissanusa.com/download/?03-24-14_n_14cpo_inspection_checklist.pdf
(taken off NissanUSA)

Yours obviously did not. I do not know the leniency for the dealership you bought it at but there are way too many inspection points they "missed". You can take this to the dealership if you want to pursue this further.

OP, I don't know how much you know about your car, but after a quick search this is what I found based on the carfax:
You are the third owner. The first owner bought it and sold it to a dealer. The dealer then sold it to the second owner as a CPO. During the ownership of the second owner, the vehicle was damaged twice, and some interior pieces were fixed. The second owner sold it back to another dealer (Future Nissan) and listed it for sale as a pre-owned vehicle, no where does it list it as CPO. More ammo for you...Good luck...

Please post pictures of the car... I'm curious to if the car has the correct seats. Wrong rotors and such sounds like they may have parted the car out before the repo.

Great, if better send it back to them and get the money back.

Plus, they should know what their dealer has done.

Funny how the finance manager told me the clutch master cylinder and shocks are not covered under bumper to bumper warranty. He also told me the clutch master is part of the pressure plate. What I find funny is they swap out parts in the lot to fix their mistake and hope the owner of that car doesn't complain. They even sold me road hazard program and key replacement program , hoping I would use it to get it fix and get a second new key. If you guys look up their dealership on cars.com their cars are way over price. The used 16 black Nismo finally dropped from 38000 to 32000. The Black Nismo is worse than mine.

BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP I don't know where they got their great customer service from.

Hope you get this worked out and they buy back the car. However until this is worked out, I would not drive the car and put miles on it. Trust me on this!! Best of luck.
