There are number of threads about sound deadening on the boards - having done it personally, I can say it made my commute much better. Conversations both in cabin and with my hands free (through stereo) are much better. No more yelling. All and all, it was the best thing I did. I don't track my car- the extra weight didn't bother me at all.
Its still a sports car however, I wouldn't be expecting pin drop quiet in the car - but proper deadening (both mass dampeners and absorbing foam) does help. |
