Our paint sucks compared to euro

A trade I am willing to take.... That is why it is important to keep your Z clean and waxed at all times. While they may have better paint, have you seen how much MORE it costs them??

Keep a good coat of wax and it should do fine. Chips are gonna happen but a good detailer can fix them like new.

How is a good detailer going to make chips look like new?Other then dabs of touch up and thats noticable?

I also love how the base coat of the car is actually the same color as the final coat (chips and scratches don't show up that easily!) Wish more auto manufactors would do this!

What color is your car? I'm giessing black.

Mine has a black basecoat with a silver topcoat.

The paint is not single stage paint. There is a clear coat on these cars. Very few manufactures use single stage now a days.

New to this forum so Hi

, have been looking around for quite some time before I bought my 370z (I can pick up my baby next monday)

What I was wondering is does the US 370z come with an anti-scratch paint? Here in europe they advertise with it having an anti-scratch paint (whatever this is)

They do cost quite a bit more over here yes but I doubt thats the reason to give a lesser paint

My Z in Belgium costs 45.400 euro (base price 42.200) and I have to pay 5.000 euro tax to get it in trafic. (thats the highest possible tax on a new car and its because its considerd a sports car with alot of power)
However I was born in Holland, a Z there costs 65.000 euro as base price and I now live 1/2 mile away from Holland.
