Limp mode @ 3.5k rpm; no cel

I think I am the one that revived this thread. Unfortunately I'm having what sounds like the same exact problem as "zilent_jay". I should hear back today whether or not

I think I am the one that revived this thread. Unfortunately I'm having what sounds like the same exact problem as "zilent_jay". I should hear back today whether or not the sprocket fixes the problem. If it does... I'll be following in zilent_jay's footsteps and doing an oil consumption test in 1,000 miles. I've been driving an Altima with stock radio and sh**ty handling for the past week. I think that's been the hardest part of the whole ordeal. That, and seeing my car's engine torn apart in order to replace a magic sprocket that is somehow the cause of all my problems... even though something had to make it go bad. (i.e. oil consumption most likely)

Will post when I find out more!
