I use a proclip mount to hold the phone on the right side of my radio. I use apple carplay so the phone is displayed using the headunit and use voice commands to have siri read/send text messages or place calls, ect. I dont have to touch the phone or play with any buttons while driving.
 I stole Birdmanx1's picture to show location of the holder.
