Don't do it! They are money pits. Every single part that goes on it means you need to pay to get a tune. It's a never ending process. Trust me!

Don't do it!
They are money pits. Every single part that goes on it means you need to pay to get a tune. It's a never ending process. Trust me! in just over 6 years I went through: 5 sets of tires, 5 sets of brakes, 3 turbos, 4 tunes, and then....3rd gear grenaded itself (5 speed 2007). Lets see: I was pulled over 5x, only one of which was I actually driving fast, the other 4 were "warnings," and the constant every stop light someone wanting to race got old. I think the re-sell however is going to be better than the Z because people want 4door awd vehicles in the northern states, but, what would you rather look at and get into every day? The Z is actually a beautiful looking car that doesn't look like just another 4 door on the road with random over-styled lines running everywhere. I say keep the Z, get a cheap used wrx that someone already sank their life savings into instead, and don't beat the crap out of it unless you want to buy a new transmission, or find a used older sti with the 6 speed that can take some abuse. |

If you get the WRX you will also have to start vaping. It's just what WRX owners do..

XD forgot about the multi quote thingy. I would really love to keep the Z but looks sub is a better option for a country with half year heavy snow. still debating myself like should i spend another 20k to slam TT on the Z or just trade an STI and call it a day/

I came out of an Sti because is was a pig-understeering PoS that you had to manhandle to get it to go fast.
Z34 is a different beast altogether. |

If you are still considering this horrible idea just do it and let the Z end up with someone who will appreciate it and not trade it in for some goofy looking Subaru!

Absolutely this. If you have to ask you're obviously not a Z enthusiast. I couldn't imagine giving up a Z car, whichever generation it was. Even if I came into money and could have any car, I'd still have a Z and just do whatever I wanted to it. There's nothing special about the subaru, whatever stage it is lol. They almost always end up being annoyingly loud, horribly stanced, flat brimmed boy racer vape mobiles.
