I paid full cover for the 370, 07 RAV4 and liability for a F-150, that is about $120 a month with a clean driving record and a few claims. However my deductibles a really low. I would be paying less if I increase my deductibles.

I don't think you will find better rates.

HINT: Less than 7,000 miles driven annually.

Thanks Papo . .I will have to compare to my MetLife rates. Though, I am an employee so that will probably bring it closer. I do recall that when I was in (back in the early to mid 90's) USAA was the best you could find for a GI. Now that I visit the VA hospital on a regular basis (read twice a month), then perhaps I should look to going back to them. Thanks for the tip!

Might have to check it out. Retired army. I don't have a Z (yet?) but I checked my current company and it's less than my 2006 RSX type S. WTF?

I just left USAA (after 20 years) because I found a cheaper rate (especially with the
370Z) with Geico. They do have a great auto buying service though.

That's who I checked with (and who I've had for 12 years now).

USAA offers membership to any armed service veteran. That's the whole point of USAA. Their rates are usually excellent except for homeowners insurance which I've found is not so hot. They are excellent with claims though and won't gouge you afterwards with rate hikes if you have to make a claim. I use them for my cars and personal property insurance.

I bought my car thru them, about $3K under MSRP with no hassale with the dealer. It also depends on the car. Some MB you can get them for $10K under MSRP.

And for the loan I printed a blank check and took it to the dealer. Did everything on line, loan and car buying service.

BTW, I had GEICO for over 7 yrs and changed to USAA, way cheaper for me.

Well back in the 80 & 90s were only officers. After 2000 they started accepting NCOs, later enlisted and now is anyone that served honorably in the Armed Forces.
