Rev D is the latest revision for US models. It is still prone to failure. My Z had a Rev D from the factory and was not covered by the recall. Having read about numerous Rev D models that still failed, I pulled the fuse immediately
![]() Grounding the pink wire electrically bypasses the ESCL (steering lock), allowing you to start the car. Once the car is started you're good. You do not need to keep the wire grounded.
