Short Leg problems, how do you guys deal with it?

it sounds like you might be pushing the clutch to the floor which you shouldn't have to do. as other have said you barely have to push the clutch in

it sounds like you might be pushing the clutch to the floor which you shouldn't have to do. as other have said you barely have to push the clutch in for the clutch to disengage. if i had to push the clutch the whole way in id have to move the seat the whole way up also and im 5' 10"

thanks for the help guys, I think I'm just gonna sit further back and not push the clutch to the floor due to the high engagement point

Not exactly on topic, but this thread's reminded me of a photo I took of Steve, sometime around 2005, at one of our first meets, when our UK 350Z club was in it's infancy...

Poor guy couldn't do track days because if he wore a crash helmet he didn't fit in the car.

Everyone else in that pic is 5' or less right?

Steve was legendarily tall (an ex-fireman) - and the bit about not fitting in the car if he was wearing a crash helmet is true, but I must admit I photoshopped the pic some years ago. Everyone else is normal size.

That video is amazing lol

I never realized that we didn't need to hit the clutch to the floor, I'm 5'7" and always drive with my foot all the way extended never even thought/felt odd about it.

Surgery appears to be an option for the OP

Metal pins or screws are placed through the skin and into the bone. Pins are placed above and below the cut in the bone. Stitches are used to close the wound.
A metal device is attached to the pins in the bone. It will be used later to very slowly (over months) pull the cut bone apart. This creates a space between the ends of the cut bone that will fill in with new bone.
When the leg has reached the desired length and has healed, another surgery is done to remove the pins.
