Real talk, how often do you get above 125?

I think the fastest iv ever gone in my Z is 80. i prefer to go from slow to fast quickly rather than just go fast. more fun and less likely to get in trouble.

If talking public roads, there is no place for 125 on a public road.

Every chance I get. (Legally of Course) check out the Big Bend Open Road Race in west Texas. Legal for the day.

Go to my350z or fb if you don't like the rules. No one is forcing you to stay

Guys, we all speed. We didn't buy fast cars to go slow. We just don't post about it. ;)

It's kinda like fight club.

I usually cruise around 120-130 during the summertime when the sun is out, nighttime I slow down a bit to around 100-110.

There's a fine line between speeding and being a tool, though.

One little error at that speed, and you're dead. There was even a recent example of a guy dying behind the wheel of his Z, after losing control while street racing in Australia. Sadly, he's not the only one.

If someone wants to go that fast, they need to find a legal and safe venue to do so. I'm sure no family has a desire to be destroyed because some ******* felt he needed to see how fast his car is.

Circumstances matter too - there's a difference between ripping through a few gears on an empty freeway or keeping your foot in it all the way up the on-ramp, and weaving through traffic, racing, etc.

You can only do that once, after that it rolls 126...127...128, you get the idea. lol

125 only exists in Mexico..

TBH speed is a god damn drug. I use to be fine with 90... then 110... then 130... 150... etc it keeps getting worse and worse. But I live in Orange county/LA area. It's extremely hard to go fast here, nor do I dare as there are way to many people on the road. But I agree with chuck... we didnt buy these cars to go slow... we just tend not to talk about the times we go fast.

Well the maximum posted speed limit I've encountered in CA is 65 MPH so why the heck would I be a rebel and go past 65 let alone 125. Aaannndddd IBTL

I get up to 120ish on the straights at the track at every lap, so 20~ times?

Car feels pretty good at that speed but could be better.

The Great Z is still..... It's the low rent used car buyers with that "I live a quarter mile at a time" attitude killing this forum. I know not every used car purchaser is a poser. Not saying that.... but sadly.... you get a lot of underachiever mentality in that bracket.

Some guys in the $12,000-18,000 price range that chose to buy a Z with 150,000 miles than an FRS with 30,000 miles... They shoulda chose the FRS.

Someone who understands that not everyone lives in the US. I applaud you, Sir/Ma'am.

On a small race track in France the 350Z could barely hit 190 km/h.
On the German Autobahn we hit 220-230 a few times.

The 370 hasn't been there yet, but I am almost to say that it will take higher speeds less calm than the 350 did. Shorter wheelbase, less weight and so... we'll see.

But anyway, just going fast is no fun. We need turns.

I've been 140+ mph in the Z several times on the track. Boooooorrrrrrrring. Give me 80 mph at the precipice of grip :driving: on a closed course obviously.

Not everybody is crazy enough to spend close to 50k for a 10 year old design ^.^ I saw a couple Z's with 50k miles under 18k now so I don't think anybody in their right mind would get a FRS instead

idk those little FRS's look fun TBH. With their prius tires you can send it sideways constantly. & if you wreck it... F**k it, its just a FRS.... lol

:rolleyes: I don't have any problems sending my Z sideways constantly, and I don't need Prius tires to do it. And you shouldn't be going sideways if you can't control that $hit without wrecking ;)
