Aftermarket factory spoiler...yes or no?

I've seen some nice, well reviewed factory style spoilers on eBay, painted and ready to go for around $200. Has anyone purchased one?

Why? If you don't have one, why add on one? Every one states of the uniqueness of the/their Z. But if you'll look threw the site, "9 out of ten", have the spoiler.

Because he wants to. Simple enough.

I bought an ebay OEM knockoff spoiler for an Integra and it was fine. Never had any issues with it fitting or anything.

the 370Z is unique enough, and I think the spoiler really makes the car. I don't care if 9/10 people have it, I prefer not to be the 1/10 that doesn't just because I can say that.

I was just thinking there was no reason for us to debate whether or not he should buy a spoiler. Just whether or not a knockoff from ebay would work okay.

i bought an aftermarket spoiler (non-oem look) for my G from spoilerdepot long time ago. it was painted by them too. turned out real nice. if i was to get a spoiler for another car in the future, i'll consider them again.

Question

This forum is taking a downward trend lately! Its a shame because it is a great forum for the 370Z enthusiast.Apparently we have picked up an imature audience and they are carrying on like some spoiled kids!
This isn't a daycare boys so grow up and act like men!If you can't give your fellow member respect then you don't belong on here!

not really sure what post was so bad that warranted the "grow up" comment.. but the OP asked a very general question, and got several general answers..

and to the OP.. the best answer I can think of is "it depends"

If the place has good feedback/reviews then go for it.. just because its from ebay doesn't mean its crap.. Lots of reputable places have ebay stores..

There was no malicious intent in my post. I just feel that the op wanted info on a spoiler type, not whether or not he should get one. Nothing to get up in arms about. Carry on with the original topic.

I'm going to give the eBay spoiler a shot, they seem very reputable and it's roughly $200

I'm getting quotes between $550-700 installed from Nissan dealers

dont take it to a Nissan dealer for the install they will charge you an arm and leg. Find a good repair shop or something and have them do it for less or install it yourself.
