Also, I've been sidelined due to a foot surgery and just starting her to warm her up in the mornings and listen to her sing and wake up my neighbors is pure heaven. I'm easily entertained I guess.

Took Uber myself to SJC Airport and my goodness it was in a Prius as well

Sorry to read this Mr Rafael Get well soon Sir

Anyone bored of their Z?

Alright, alright.. so I figure buy something for the Z to help with the boredom and maybe buy a another car (older car) to alternate between them so I don't have to DD the Z?

When these guys push their prized environment friendly machines, ask them about battery life cycles, real life and long term energy storage capacities, the enormous amount of large batteries that are introduced in the environment, and other long term environmental impacts. What happens to these batteries when the cars a junked? Gas is too cheap for many car guys to go tree hugging.

Rusty 10-24-2016 09:31 PM

Bored with the Nismo? No! Other cars that caught my eye? Yes. 2017 Viper ACR. :yum: :leghump: :yum: :leghump:

axmea? 10-24-2016 09:34 PM

Viper ACR. Ultimate anti-tree hugger.

Boy.....could I add in to this. :rofl2: Ever see how they mine lithium and the pollution that goes with it? Need electric to charge the batteries. Where's that come from? It doesn't grow on trees. :shakes head: Wind and solar power doesn't product more then 2% of the electric this country uses. Take away the tax credit for them. And you wouldn't see one wind mill, or solar panel. They operate at a lose. Without tax dollars. There is no profit. If you crash the Prius, and are trapped in it. It may be awhile for the local volunteer fire department cuts you out of the car. They have to be certificated to cut you out. Most fear electrocution if they cut the wrong spot, or starting a fire.

Z-Girl, on a quick side note, how do you like the the HFC? Was it the resonated or non-res from FI? Does it the deceleration hiss bother you? I have stock exhaust but was trying to decide on which config from FI to get.

And to stay on topic for this thread, NO, I am not bored of my Z and I work from home most of the time. Almost every day or twice a day I'll just get in the car and drive a few miles for my "driving therapy".

madeinjapan 10-25-2016 07:33 AM

not my daily so not bored

Cyber370 10-25-2016 07:41 AM

Bored with the Z? F**k no!!! Most fun I've had with a car ever. As close to perfect as possible in its class.

not yet, I go to a new car about every 3 years, maybe something ill like better might show up......now my truck, Ive had that 12 years

B&W_Evader 10-25-2016 08:42 AM

5 years, 61k, DD, still loving the comforts of a modern car. Compare that to my previous weekend 69 Vette with super loud, no cats, no air, no heat, manual brakes, manual steering & 400+hp. The Vette was awesome but I hardly ever drove her at 9-12 MPG. The 370 is my tree hugger car.

PhantaPhanta 10-25-2016 08:55 AM

Still not bored. I smile like a 10 year old getting his fat lollipop every time I walk to my car from class. My smile gets creepier as I look at my car after a fresh clean car wash.

The new car is auto too. Using a clutch doesn't make anything 'fun' in my opinion.

I still love mine and have no intentions of replacing it.

Maybe you just bought the wrong car. Replace it with whatever you want. There is practically an unlimited choice of vehicles available. Drive what you like.

Love the HFCs, the sound is amazing. I can't remember I "think" res...if that is the quiet one. I went with the quietest setup for exhaust and hfcs. Had it for a few months now and just realized the infamous hiss. I had never heard it before because my music is always on and loud. Doesn't bother me tho, rare I'm decelerating anyway ha!

zmanelite 10-25-2016 06:51 PM

Not bored per se but I have been eyeing a new Z28 or the 17 ZL1 Camaro

MagmaRed370z 10-25-2016 07:02 PM

I DD mine. It's awesome every time. Love my Z!

2+ years of ownership so far and still enjoy it as much as day one. IMO, nothing made in the last 10 years in the price range looks half as good as the Z.

My daily commute in the Z just got a whole lot better thanks to the Motordyne E70 Shockwave CBE that was recently installed. And I have more plans for mods and upgrades in the future.

I will NEVER get bored of my Z because it's a Z!:driving:

Yup. When I did I ditched it for a 911. NEVER got bored of that!

Alas, I was finally forced into a more practical car before my big move cross-country and I had put a ton of miles on the 911. It is in someone else's care now but I plan to be back on the horse in two years either with an R8 or Cayman GTS. Once you go big you don't go back.
