But main question is, if posted price is $24,000, how much can you offer lower than that and make it an acceptable offer?

because a dealer just came back to me and said the lowest they could do was $300 less.
(coggins)

lol right?
depends on the dealership. show them that you're a serious buyer and give them a reasonable counter-offer (example: 22k) and see what they say.

or if the posted price is 24k, ask them... what's the total OTD price (taxes and fees included). Once you figure that out, negotiate that number instead.

I'm really eager to get this specific 370z but i'm running $2k down low on the downpayment and the damm capital one won't give me anymore credit.

xD
2k down is very little, and if cap 1 isn't giving you more credit, it sounds like your credit score isn't all that great either, so your APR might be pretty high. 2k is only covering the taxes and then some...maybe you should re-consider your purchase for a while and save up some more first.

Ya. I tried. It should be around 34, and they went down to 28,500. I dont think they'll go below 28.000

I got $6k down.
Yes. Someone came back and filed a lien in 2014 from 2008.
I called the number and there's a high guy that doesn't have any clue where that's from, but he wants me to pay it. and that's making a ding in my credit. It's only $2k I owe.
Plus 1 other thing of $200 bucks.
it sucks cuz its not much money and I didnt know about it till now.

With my people I have perfect credit. Got stable job as of months ago so it kinda helps, but still.

Don't pay it just to get it off your report, demand written proof that it belongs to you. If the people that are holding the debt don't know where it's from, chances are it's bogus. Also, depending on the state, statute of limitations comes into play. Research what your state's statute of limitations is on debt and if this is outside of it, tell them to pound sand and get the credit bureaus to erase it.
